Our Division of City Planning and Development is mandated to “Manage the spatial environment – industrial, residential and retail”. Our division oversees:

• Metro Planning, policy and system planning
• GIS surveys, CAD information, services and schemes
• Building Control - apply rules / national regulations, plan submitting, approval and inspection;
• Land Use Management - town planning, property street and place naming;
• Development Enforcement – enforcement of town planning scheme rules – prosecution of illegal users / buildings.
