Community Safety Operational Administration

The Community Safety Operational Administration Division is an internal, universal division providing administration duties to the whole of the Community Safety Department and its sub-divisions. It does not provide any service to the community.

The Standards Evaluation and Monitoring Unit monitors, evaluates and reports on the efficiency and effectiveness of the departmental processes and internal controls in delivering on its mandate and strategic vision of protecting and enhancing Departmental and Council reputation, Finance and Operational Risk, protect employees of the department from exposure to physical, psychological or other forms of harm through strategically located operational units such as the Inspectorate Operations monitoring Policy Compliance, Loss/Damage control, Screening (Integrity screening of pre and employed personnel corps of the Council and Vendors), Civilian and Internal Affairs and the Investigation Operations Section focusing on Conduct and Anti-Corruption, Observation and Entrapment, Incidents Investigations of risk loss in and against the Council, screening directed by Social Development to facilitate in poverty alleviation.
