Tshwane International Trade and Infrastructure Investment Conference

Consolidation of Tshwane’s investment potentials through efficient processes and institutional systems with private-sector participation.

Taking place over three days, the 4th Tshwane International Trade and Infrastructure Investment Conference (TITIIC) includes a number of high level opportunities to interact with decision makers from South Africa’s capital city.

A stellar cast of speakers will introduce these opportunities to a plenary of high profile delegates selected from sub-Saharan Africa and abroad. Delegates interested in approaching these issues in greater detail will have the opportunity to attend a series of facilitated sessions dedicated to maximising Tshwane’s investment potential from a variety of practical and professional standpoints.

Delegates will be exposed in depth to the scale of opportunities that Tshwane presents, including exports, development opportunities of economically important sectors, investment incentives, bankable projects, strategic land parcels and value-added goods and services.

Moreover, delegates will be informed of the best means of accessing these opportunities, and introduced to the key decision-makers in the CoT and the Tshwane private sector who can facilitate the process. In addition invaluable business-to-business linkages will be formed.

This contact will serve to assist in the achievement of the objectives outlined in the Tshwane Investment Attraction, Facilitation and Aftercare Plan (2011-2016), as well as other initiatives in which the CoT is involved, such as the City Development Strategy and Spatial Development Network and the Alternative Service Delivery Programme.

Attending the TITIIC is a step towards investing in the future of Tshwane and your business.

The purpose of the TITIIC is to achieve the City of Tshwane's strategic objectives 2 and 3, namely to "accelerate higher and shared economic growth and development" and to "fight poverty". The key performance areas that will be addressed are to:
•    Facilitate higher economic growth through investment, business retention, industrial development and trade linkages.
•    Facilitate shared economic growth through SMME and cooperatives development, skills development and job creation.

• Automotive and components
• Tourism and related services
• Agriculture and agro-processing
• Mixed manufacturing
• Aerospace and aviation technology
