The Financial Services Department manages the corporate financial affairs of the Municipality. We ensure that the best possible services are provided within budgetary constraints. The financial services rendered include strategic financial management services to municipal departments, divisions and units.
We are also responsible for drawing up the annual municipal budget and for implementing and maintaining a system that generates accurate information about the Municipality's financial position. This information is generated for internal and external use, and enables stakeholders to make informed decisions.
