The Multisectoral AIDS Management is responsible for the management of the AIDS Programme on a facilitating level and aims at the effective response of all role players in an integrated and coordinated way. The unit is divided into three subsections being workplace programme management, integration and impact management and community programme management

Mission
To be a Unit of excellence that will ensure a multisectoral, coordinated and integrated response by empowering the community of Tshwane to:
- Reduce new HIV infections;
- increase the length of productive life for those infected with HIV; and
- support children and families affected by AIDS to live normal lives, in order to reduce the socio-economic impact of AIDS on the community of Tshwane.
Areas of responsibility
The Multisectoral AIDS Management Unit is responsible for:
- Mobilise, coordinate, facilitate and support Multisectoral responses to HIV and AIDS;
- internal HIV & AIDS Workplace Programme;
- mainstreaming and integration of HIV and AIDS services;
- HIV and AIDS Impact and risk management;
- community empowerment and capacity building; and
- condom distribution
