Mr Lisa Mangcu
Mr Mangcu has been appointed Deputy City Manager: Infrastructure and Program Management. He has more than 12 years of experience in senior management, and he was a member of the team that established the Eastern Cape Provincial Government. His experience in transformation was critical when he led the constitutional transformation process that sought to define the role of traffic policing in the context of a new and free South Africa.
His work experience includes being the Strategic Executive Director of Transport and Roads at the City of Tshwane, General Manager at Syntell, Business Development Executive at Odirile IT Holdings, Chief Director in the Mpumalanga Provincial Government and Director in the National Department of Transport.
His academic achievements are –
• an honours degree in Presidential Strategic Leadership Development obtained from the North West University;
• a certificate in Managing Integrated Development for Service Delivery obtained from the University of the Witwatersrand;
• a certificate in Information Management in the Public Sector obtained from the University of the Witwatersrand;
• a certificate on the Public Finance Management Act obtained from the South African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA); and
• a Business Management Diploma obtained from Damelin.
