The objectives of the Tshwane Tourism Awards are to promote Tshwane as a city of excellence and a preferred tourist destination. In granting these awards the City of Tshwane also wants to acknowledge and reward service excellence in the tourism industry in its area, and in so doing raise awareness of the importance of service excellence to gain a competitive advantage. The ultimate goal is to assist local tourism businesses to keep raising their standards.
