The City of Tshwane would like to inform its customers of the temporary suspension of services at Centurion Licencing Centre with effect from Wednesday, 23 December 2020, following a reported positive case of COVID-19.
Centurion Licencing Centre, which is situated in the south of Tshwane, will be disinfected during the closure, and vehicle registration and licencing operations will be suspended in order to combat the risk of further COVID-19 infections.
The affected licencing centre will reopen for operations as soon as the disinfection process has been completed. Further communication in this regard will be issued in due course.
The following licencing centres remain open to assist customers with temporary driving licences and the registration and licencing of motor vehicles:
- Waltloo Licencing Centre
- Akasia Licencing Centre
- Bronkhorstspruit Licencing Centre
Group Property, the Health Department and Group Human Capital Management will adhere to the City of Tshwane's standard operating procedure on buildings with confirmed positive COVID-19 cases.
During the disinfection and deep cleaning of workplaces, all employees housed at Centurion Licencing Centre are encouraged to remain at home and to take the necessary precautionary measures to observe occupational health and safety directives and the protocols related to COVID-19.
