The birdlife is abundant. Fish species available are banded tilapia, sharp tooth catfish, canary curper karp and bass.

The vegetation at Bronkhorstspruit is transitional bushveld.

How to get there
Head east on N4 toward Exit 3. Take exit 45 toward R25/Kempton Park/ Bronkhorstspruit W/R568. Turn right onto R513. Turn left onto R25. Take first right. Turn Right. Take the 1 right.
