Changeover to one-way streets in Hatfield, 4 April 2009

Traffic congestion and development in Hatfield have been investigated in a comprehensive traffic study. Based on the findings it has been decided to convert specific streets into one-way streets to improve traffic flow and movement in the area in line with current and anticipated traffic volumes. The changeover will take place on 4 April 2009.
Road users and public transport bodies must take note that Hilda Street between Church and Prospect Streets will carry traffic from north to south, and Festival Street between Prospect and Church Streets will carry traffic from south to north. The layout plan is attached.
If you travel along Pretorius and Schoeman Streets on 4 April 2009, avoid turning into Hilda and Festival Streets, as the changeover will be in progress. Should your business or private need require you to turn into these streets, drive very carefully.
The City of Tshwane would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the changeover, but would appreciate your cooperation in this regard.
