Service interruptions at City of Tshwane licencing centres due to protests by driving schools

Some licencing centres in Tshwane are experiencing service delivery interruptions due to a strike by driving schools.

The following licencing centres are affected by the strike: 

• Bronkhorstspruit
• Centurion
• Rayton
• Waltloo

Residents are advised that those with driving and learner licence bookings scheduled for today, 24 February 2022, and tomorrow, 25 February 2022, will be rescheduled. Driving licence renewal bookings are valid for 14 days.

Please note that the following motor vehicle registration offices are operating as normal:

• Saambou Bulk Office
• Tshwane Metro Police Department Specialised Bulk Office
• Akasia Office
