The City has received a notification from Rand Water about a planned shutdown of the water supply to parts of Pretoria East.
During this period the water utility will install tie-ins and meter connections on the newly installed pipeline.
This important work is planned for 12 hours. It will start from 17:00 on 28 February 2022 and end at 05:00 on 1 March 2022.
The reservoirs in the following affected areas will be filled before the shutdown:
- Hatherley
- Kwaggafontein
- Mahube Valley
- Mamelodi
- Nellmapius
- Portion 23, Zwartkoppies (Savannah Country Estate)
- Sammy Marks Museum
- Shere
- Silver Lakes
- Six Fountains
- Willow Acres
- Zwartkoppies
The City of Tshwane apologises for the inconvenience that may be caused by this planned water supply shutdown.
