The City’s early childhood development (ECD) centres have once again opened in Atteridgeville and Mamelodi after closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.
The centres were upgraded and revamped, and boast new play areas as well as a complement of skilled staff, such as chefs and professional teachers. The ECD centres will provide nutritious food as no child can learn on an empty stomach.
These facilities are proudly managed by the City and will provide toddlers with solid foundational learning and development skills.
Taking into consideration the current economic climate, the City has ensured that enrolment fees are kept at a minimum of about R300 per month.
