Tomorrow, 31 October 2024, the City of Tshwane Energy and Electricity Department will shut down the power supply at Heatherly Substation in Mamelodi East.
This inevitable exercise is necessitated by the need to effect emergency repairs following acts of theft and vandalism at the substation which resulted in electrical equipment malfunction.
This emergency outage is planned for eight hours from 09:00 until 17:00.
The following areas will be affected:
- Nellmapius Ext 7 and 8
- Savannah Estate
- The Blyde
The City apologises for the inconvenience that may arise as a result of this inevitable power supply interruption.
