| Customers within the City of Tshwane’s jurisdiction are informed about the scheduled downtime of the call centre line 012 358 9999 and all official customer reporting emails tonight, 16 September 2025.
The said downtime, which is necessitated by the need to carry out urgent maintenance on the City’s customer management systems, is anticipated to last for two hours from 21:00 until 23:00.
Customers are advised that the following alternative City of Tshwane reporting channels and services will remain operational during this period:
· Report power failures: SMS “power” and the account number to 082 612 0333 or 44676 or visit www.tshwane.gov.za and follow the Report Power Failure link
· Enquiries on the City’s social media channels: Instagram, X and Facebook
· Prepaid electricity will be available at third-party facilities
· Electricity prepaid unblocking services will be available
· City of Tshwane public hosted websites (www.e-tshwane.co.za)
· Other internet self-service platforms, such as I want to report
· Access statements via the e-Tshwane portal
Account payments can be made via e-Tshwane or accredited third-party pay points, including the Post Office, Pick n Pay, Usave, OK, Spar, Boxer, Caltex, BP, EP kiosks, Investec, MTN, FNB, Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Shoprite and Checkers.
