Residents in the Rand Water Bronberg Mamelodi Reservoir supply area are informed about a water supply interruption scheduled for 2 December 2025.
On this day, the City’s technicians will carry out maintenance and repairs of the Rand Water Bronberg Mamelodi Direct R5 and R6 pressure-reducing valves.
Regrettably, the water supply to the following areas will be interrupted for eight hours, from 08:00 to 16:00:
- Mahube Valley Ext 21, 24, 29 and 30
- Mamelodi Ext 8, 11, 12, 18 and 22
- Pienaarspoort Ext 2
At the same time, the City of Tshwane will conduct a tie-in connection to the water supply network in Irene on the corner of Nellmapius Drive and Olievenhoutbosch Road. An interruption of water supply will be avoided at all costs. However, it may occur for ten hours, from 08:00 to 18:00, in the following areas:
- Cornwall Hill
- Irene Ext 9, 10, 36, 44, 55, 60, 86, 176, 179, 181 and 184
