The offices of the City of Tshwane will be closed for non-essential services from 28 to 31 December 2021 and will reopen on 3 January 2022.
Please take note that offices will close at 12:00 on 24 December 2021.
The following municipal pay points will be open from 28 to 31 December 2021, but will close at 12:00 on 31 December 2021.

If you are away during the festive season, there are easy, quick and safe electronic facilities you can use to make your payments. Always pay for municipal services, whether you have received a notice or not.
You can make your payments through e-Tshwane or at accredited third-party pay points, such as the Post Office, Pick n Pay, USave, OK, Spar, Boxer, Caltex, BP, EP kiosks, Investec, MTN, FNB, Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Shoprite or Checkers. You can also make payments via electronic fund transfers.
Customers can submit meter readings via the e-Tshwane platform or at email@example.com as per the billing calendar. Visit www.tshwane.gov.za, click on the e-Tshwane link and follow the instructions.
Customers can get a summary of their municipal account, pay their account and download various forms to apply for and cancel services via the e-Tshwane and WhatsApp Service on 087 153 1001. Please ensure that you register on e-Tshwane first – non-registered customers will not be able to get billing information.
Refuse collection will continue as per the usual schedule from 28 to 31 December 2021.
The Tshwane Metro Police Department and Emergency Services Department are on full alert this festive season and will operate 24 hours a day to assist residents.
