CITY DEPARTMENTS
ICT Governance
To define and set ICT standards , norms , policies around all ICT operational domains in the City in order to maintain best practice standards , implementation of policies , and maximise the utilization of ICT’s to reduce duplication of effort and to improve operational inefficiencies
ICT Applications Management
To maintain and manage the data and information resources of the City in order to ensure reliable and up to date information is available for strategic management and operations. To manage the information systems of the City and ensure the reliability and integrity of information across all departments. To plan and execute the integration of all business systems and applications in the City in order to improve and increase the efficient use of systems in the City.
ICT Infrastructure Management
To manage all converged ICT Infrastructure and operations on a daily basis in order to ensure the availability of systems to support the City’s services delivery objectives.

Co-ordination of the Smart and Innovative City Programme
To manage and co-ordinate the programmes of the Smart and Innovative City Programme in support of service delivery. To manage programmes that enable innovative technology driven initiatives to drive local economic development, skills development and to bridge the digital divide between the rich and poor by providing affordable access to the internet through the City free Wireless internet project in strategic areas of CoT business such as customer care and libraries.
