Moreletakloof Nature Reserve Coordinates 'S25 49 027 E028 17 465

Jacobus and Cornelia Erasmus owned a dairy farm in this area in the early 1800s. Carel Erasmus bought this farm in 1877 and built a three-roomed house, which is the chapel today. In 1903, his son-in-law, Johan Marneweck, built his house on the land; it has since been converted into the Rademeyers restaurant.
