The City of Tshwane has been notified by Rand Water about an urgent need to replace and upgrade a bulk water meter that supplies The Reeds Reservoir in Tshwane. This essential work is scheduled for 28 February 2023 from 08:00 until 16:00.
The affected reservoir will be filled to maximum capacity prior to the shutdown. However, the water supply may be interrupted during this period. Residents are therefore urged to use water sparingly.
The following areas might be affected by this interruption:
- Brakfontein 399-JR
- Brakfontein 419-JR
- Olievenhoutbosch 389-JR
- Rua Vista (all extensions)
- The Reeds (all extensions)
The City of Tshwane apologises for the inconvenience that may be encountered as a result of the above-mentioned planned maintenance.
