Events Compliance

To realise safe and successful events, event organisers are requested to present their event to the Events Joint Operations Committee (JOC) three weeks before their event. Event organisers and event owners must complete the JOC application form, which can be accessed at click here. and submit it for consideration to eventsjoc@tshwane.gov.za in order to present their event to the JOC.

For more information, event organisers or event owners can contact the Events Compliance Office at 012 358 4716/4714/5879 or send an email to eventsjoc@tshwane.gov.za.

The JOC meets every Wednesday to evaluate and assess the organisers’ event safety plans to make sure that their event complies with the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act, 2010 (Act 2 of 2010) and its regulations, and with the City of Tshwane’s by-laws and regulations.
