Identify and follow up on people with various health and social problems, including HIV, TB and STIs, and make referrals to clinics for health screening and treatment, including counselling and testing for HIV, TB and STIs.
Facilitate services to address poverty, hunger and gender-based violence. Among others, referral points include social workers, the Department of Home Affairs and food banks.
Conduct awareness of and screening for COVID-19 and substance abuse, and refer affected people accordingly.
Identify children without birth certificates and refer parents to the Department of Home Affairs.
