The City of Tshwane has alerted Rand Water about the water outage that has been experienced since Monday, 28 August 2023, by suburbs situated north-west of the Pretoria CBD and which are supplied by Akasia Reservoir.
The City has identified the challenge as being inadequate pressure from the side of the water utility.
The outage is affecting the following suburbs:
- Amandasig
- Chantelle
The City hopes that Rand Water will address the challenge as speedily as possible.
The City also apologises profusely for the inconvenience that has been caused by the absence of pressure.
