Temporary closure of municipal offices over the Easter holidays

Tshwane residents are informed about the temporary closure of non-essential services from today, 28 March 2024, at 12:00 until Tuesday, 2 April 2024 at 07:30. This temporary closure comes as a result of the Easter weekend that is already upon us.

During this period, the City’s call centre on 012 358 9999 will remain open to receive calls relating to the following essential services:

  • Power failure
  • Street lights
  • Water leaks
  • Roads and storm water
  • Potholes
  • Traffic signals
  • Water and sanitation

The following service interruption reporting channels will remain functional:

The call service and the below email lines for account queries and meter readings will not be operational from Saturday, 30 March 2024, until 07:30 on Tuesday, 2 April 2024:

Residents are urged to take advantage of the alternative easy, quick and safe electronic facilities to make payments. Customers can pay through e-Tshwane or at accredited third-party pay points, such as the Post Office, Pick ‘n Pay, Usave, OK, Spar, Boxer, Caltex, BP, EP kiosks, Investec, MTN, FNB, Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Shoprite or Checkers. Payments can also be made via electronic fund transfers.
