Media statement 6 February 2024
Cllr Ziyanda Zwane
MMC for Environment and Agriculture Management
The City of Tshwane extends its gratitude to the residents of Tshwane for their collaboration during the Rekaofela Campaign by preventing and reporting any form of illegal dumping.
During 2023, the Environment and Agriculture Management Department experienced significant turnout and cooperative efforts from communities across the various regions. Accordingly, we encourage residents to sustain their support and cooperation in the new year.
This year’s campaign will focus on a particular region in a specific month. The campaign started last Friday in Region 5 and for the remainder of February 2024, our teams will target identified hotspots in Region 5.
