On Tuesday, 8 July 2025, the City of Tshwane Water and Sanitation Department will carry out repairs to a leak on the supply pipe to Cornwall Hill Reservoir. Unfortunately, the work in question will lead to a water supply interruption for a period of six hours, from 07:00 to 13:00.
The following areas will be affected:
- Cornwall Hill
- Doornkloof 391-JR
The City apologises for the inconvenience which may be caused as a result of the above-mentioned repair work.
We appeal to all residents to conserve water during this time. The City encourages residents to assist in using water sparingly by doing the following:
- Do not water gardens.
- Do not wash cars.
- Do not clean driveways or pavements using hose pipes.
- Do not fill swimming pools.
- Flush toilets only when necessary.
- Close a running tap while brushing teeth.
- Reduce daily water usage as much as possible.
