How to access our services during the 21-day lockdown

Customers should please note that during the 21-day lockdown, the City’s call centre, 012 358 9999, will only be operational during working hours from 07:30 to 16:00 to provide limited essential services.

Customers will only be assisted with fault reporting on electricity, water services and sewer blockages. Due to limited capacity, the call centres will not attend to account queries, general enquiries or complaints during the lockdown period.

Customers are encouraged to use the email services as the preferred method of communication during the day and after hours to report faults for all water leaks and blocked drain queries or requests. Alternatively, customers can also log requests via e-Tshwane and send an SMS to report all power failure queries or requests.

Customers can view their account, capture readings and make payments to the City of Tshwane electronically at www. e-tshwane.co.za. This service is available all hours of the day. E-Tshwane allows customers to upload meter readings, view statements, and make account payments from the comfort of their home or office.

Option 2 of the telephone service (012 358 9999) provides customers with their latest account balance, their last payment received and the due date of their next payment.

Customers can contact the Emergency Services Department by dialling 107, or 012 358 9999 and selecting Option 1.

Urgent by-law offences can be reported to the Tshwane Metro Police Department at 012 358 9999 (select Option 1).
