It is time for investors to submit their bids for the redevelopment of municipal-owned properties

The City of Tshwane reminds investors of the approaching bidding deadlines for strategic property redevelopment.

In November 2025, interested parties were invited to bid for the long-term lease, investment and development of several key properties. This information is available on the City of Tshwane website at https://www.tshwane.gov.za/?p=94556.

Prospective bidders, investors and developers are reminded that their bids must be submitted by 10:00 on the date of submission for the relevant properties.

The schedule is as follows:

  • 19 January 2026
  • HM Pitje Stadium Precinct, Mamelodi (36 ha)
  • Erf 1932, Zwartkop Ext 16
  • 20 January 2026
  • More than 30 Sunnyside properties within the Nelson Mandela Corridor
  • Odi Stadium Precinct, Mabopane (27 ha)
  • 21 January 2026
  • Pretoria Showgrounds Precinct (38,9 ha)
  • Erf 43, Verwoerdburgstad in Centurion (2,9 ha)
  • 22 January 2026
  • Erven 396, 397, 398 and 399, Rosslyn Ext 2 (almost 10 ha of industrial properties)
  • 23 January 2026
  • Erven 401, 402, 403, 469 and 470, Rosslyn Ext 2 (3,5 ha of industrial properties)

By releasing these underused City-owned assets, the City of Tshwane aims to convert these land and buildings into engines of inclusive development.
