The City of Tshwane has opened applications for the recruitment of senior Section 56 managers. This set of managers will report to the City Manager to build a City that works for all its residents by improving the culture of high performance in the City. As a commitment to stabilise governance in the City, these positions are now permanent appointments. Filling these positions is critical so that we continue steering the City of Tshwane ship in the right direction.
We must stabilise the top management of the institution and ensure that the City Manager has a strong team around him. The City is looking to fill the following positions with skilled and fit-for-purpose individuals:
• Chief of Police
• Chief of Emergency Services
• Chief Financial Officer
• Chief Operations Officer
• Chief Audit Executive
• Group Head: Strategy and Management Support
• Governance and Support Officer
We are also working to maximise the productivity of our workforce, including implementing performance management policies.
