The City of Tshwane is proud to announce its annual celebration of Social Workers Day on 19 March 2024.
This significant event will honour and recognise the invaluable contributions of social workers in our community, highlighting their essential role in addressing social issues and promoting social justice.
Social Workers Day, observed annually every third Tuesday of March, serves as a global commemoration to celebrate the dedication and hard work of social workers worldwide.
In the City of Tshwane, our social workers play a vital role in providing support and assistance during natural disasters, addressing homelessness and poverty, and offering consultation services to vulnerable families in need.
Let us join hands in recognising their efforts in creating a more just and equitable society for all.
