Your input is important to us! Please participate in the 2024/25 budget and Integrated Development Plan public participation process

Council approved the draft 2024/25 review of the 2022–2026 Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and the draft 2024/25 Medium-term Revenue and Expenditure Framework (MTREF) for the City of Tshwane for public comment on 27 March 2024.

The City of Tshwane will commence with public consultation meetings throughout the seven regions of Tshwane from Tuesday, 9 April 2024.

In addition to holding physical meetings, the City will also engage with residents through virtual meetings to accommodate residents who cannot attend the physical meetings.

The purpose of hosting virtual and in-person meetings is to ensure that all residents are given the opportunity to partake in this significant process that has a direct impact on their lives by commenting on developments that they require in their respective wards and on the proposed tariff increases, which will come into effect on 1 July 2024.

Ratepayers’ feedback during this process will assist in shaping the final budget to be approved by Council before the close of the current financial year.
