Do you want to know more about the most feared and misunderstood creatures of the animal world? Then the reptile park, which is situated in the Rooihuiskraal Resort, is just the place to visit.
The aim of the park is to educate people about and create more awareness of our indigenous species and the importance of protecting these animals.
There are 28 display units with various snakes, from the very dangerous (like the black mamba) to the totally harmless (like the common egg-eater). There are also Nile crocodiles and giant bullfrogs on display.
In smaller units, there are a variety of scorpions, spiders and lizards on display.
