On Tuesday, 20 February 2024, the City of Tshwane will carry out a planned connection to the water supply network in Erasmuskloof Ext 3 on the corner of Rubenstein Drive and Peddie Street.
Although an interruption to the water supply will be avoided at all costs, it may occur from 08:00 until 16:00 in the following areas:
- Constantia Park Ext 3
- Erasmuskloof Ext 3
The City of Tshwane apologises for the inconvenience that may be caused by the above-mentioned planned water supply interruption.
The City wishes to remind residents to adhere to the following water-conservation measures:
- Do not water or irrigate gardens with hosepipes or sprinkler systems between 06:00 and 18:00.
- Do not wash vehicles with hosepipes.
- Do not fill swimming pools.
- Install a low-flow shower head and tap aerators where possible.
- Use a dual-flush toilet cistern.
- Plant indigenous or drought-resistant shrubs in the garden.
- Use a broom instead of a hosepipe when cleaning driveways or patios.
- Collect rainwater to reuse in the garden or wash the car.
- Cover the swimming pool to reduce water evaporation.
- Take a short shower rather than a bath.
- Close a running tap while brushing teeth or shaving.
