Residents are urged to report any suspicion of fraud, corruption or other irregular conduct to the Anti-fraud and Corruption Hotline on 080 TSHWANE (080 874 9263).
Report wrongful conduct such as credit control scams, biasness, sloppiness and unfairness during a tender process, city planning scams, illegal connections, land and property hijackings, unlawful amendments to customer information, transfer of properties using falsified clearance certificates, or the soliciting of bribes to process applications at licencing centres and the unlawful conduct of Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) officers.
The Anti-fraud and Corruption Hotline is operated from an off-site facility by an independent operator on behalf of the City. The hotline facility submits these cases to Group Audit and Risk where the cases are allocated reference numbers and assigned to forensic investigators.
Cases involving misconduct by the TMPD are transferred to the TMPD to be independently handled by the Internal Affairs Section.
All whistle-blowers using the hotline are afforded protection under the Protected Disclosures Act, 2000 (Act 26 of 2000) and Section 159 of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008).
When reporting, please use the following guideline:
- The division and/or department in which the incident took place
- The nature of the incident
- The date and time of the incident
- How long has this been happening?
- How often does it happen?
- Names and number of people involved
- Do you have any proof?
- Are there any witnesses?
I want to find out if someone can help me get to the bottom of the issue around a house that was alledgedly baught and now the people want to evict me with a court order but as far as my evidence goes it shows that the people baught this RDP house from registered tennants on the system up to dat on system. The tenants left about 5 years ago and the arrears rental and electricity bills still comes to this address. I got a protection order against them but they keep lying to all on their path. I am currently with Clientele that handles my court actions. I need someone to investigate and find out on what foot i stand. Im not scared of anything as all know about the situation. Tried to contact the number but doesn’t work. Was just forced to pay bribe by two TMP officers. Old Johannesburg road at slipway to the N1… Brakfontein.
They were really aggressive. It saddens me that they were so quick to assist me in paying them and then suddenly acted as if we were friends afterwards.
I reported it with the police and they laughed at me being a unlawful citizen.
We tried calling number doesnt work. Received a call from a person saying they are on their way to come and disconnect our electricity. But if we pay something they can stop it. I phoned Tshwane accounts we arent in arrears my July payment is reflecting
he is threatening to come with Metro and disconnect our power.

It has come to my attention that our area is becoming vulnerable due to the following matters:
1. Hawkers with shacks through out Solomon Mahlangu street from N4 driving up the road , including the one who is selling fat cakes at the circle next to KFC center
2. Guys who are gambling next to the Spar gate until at night. We are unable to walk to Spar.
3. Taxi rank opposite Silveroaks. As a result, they don’t obey road rules, causing traffic at the traffic lights.
4. Squatter camp opposite Silveroaks center. As a result, there is Saurage running through N4 on ramp.
I fully understand that there are no jobs they are trying to get income , however we as the residents are vulnerable.

Illegal connections to the water supply there is borehole on solar system but they still use municipality water that is turned back 67 John Street Akasia Heatherdale.

Ive called metro police for noisy disturbing targeting me , they did not do as they were supposed to , ive reported the matter after treats were made no responce .metro police is corrupt
I tried 3 days to obtain a particular service. It is still not done. Apparat from that an official asked me to pay R1500 into an e-mallet account before s/he will preform this function I have a strong suspicion that my information are being sold to a third party. Lastly, it is impossible to speak to a person of authority ….. they provide you a different call centre number and then you have to start the process from scratch.
I want to talk to a supervisory/managerial official to who will not put this concerns in the dustbin.

There’s a company called GREENLIGHT that’s defrauding the city’s water… it was operating for Grand West Estate Apparently the owner is fronting with someone who even showed me the municipal card and said should the City knows they are going to cancel the monies he’s getting through them (city)
They are sending incorrect invoices of which the so called “owner” tried to buy me asking if I don’t want to chow money with them of which I disagree.
The city is a mess with people like such and am still investigating if they are working with the portfolio manager at Pretor

Tanglewood Resort , Dam street, Kameeldrift East has a main water supply not connected to a meter running inn, owner charges the tenant for water every month but does not get billed by municipality ….is that that Great !!!…..all the new building , and slabs were build without any engineering or plumbing approvals , the raw sewerage get pumped into a tank that then overflows and channels into 3 ponds that goes into the river and some seep into the ground – Enviromental Disaster …..and the owner and caretaker just bribes poeple !!!!!

There are people at the licensing department in the office’s the one’s no one will suspect FEMALE that’s all i can say here.
.Roadworthy no need to take the car or truck to them.

There’s deliberate water cut off’s at Block R Mabopane by municipal workers whereby they close valves to create fake water shortage in the area so that the municipality hires private water tankers to supply the community. People know names of some alleged corrupt individuals but are afraid of being killed or victimized as this goes deeper and people involved are highly connected.

What’s the use of publishing a corruption hotline number when it goes to some security guy at one of your buildings? Your staff (or contractors) are corrupt and we are unable to report these corruptions.
Please fix the issue of this number. Your website says this is 24 hours hotline yet it does not work.
